Eastern Shore HomeSchool was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Mid-Atlantic Christian. The Bucks vanquished Frederick County HomeSchool 30-8 earlier in the week.
The Eagles fell to Eastern Shore HomeSchool 30-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Fairfax HomeSchool's dynamic duo of Patrick Koehr and Matthew Loth proved tough for Maryland Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Koehr threw for 54 yards and Loth had 67 yards receiving.
The Kings' dynamic duo of Koehr and Loth proved to be unstoppable against the Saints, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Loth was the best wideout in the league this week as Fairfax HomeSchool lost to Maryland Christian.
Thomas Mechling was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 78 yards as Central Virginia HomeSchool fell to David Arenz's team. Teammate Chris Henderson added to the ground attack by rushing for 66 yards.
Koehr put up the best numbers in passing as the Kings fell to the Saints.
Mechling provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Disciples lost to Airborne for Christ.
Frederick County HomeSchool's Sam Butler and Josh Lewis have formed a dream team this season, leading Mid-Atlantic Christian in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Butler has thrown for 65 yards this season, while Lewis has 2 catches for 123 yards. Henderson from Central Virginia HomeSchool leads the league in rushing with 158 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Central Maryland Christian Crusaders takes on Fairfax HomeSchool. At the moment, the Crusaders are in second, while the Kings are in sixth.
Maryland Christian led the league in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Fairfax HomeSchool.
