After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, the Trion Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over LaFayette. The high-scoring effort was just what Trion needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
The victory got Trion back to even at 1-1. As for LaFayette, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Trion will head out on the road to face off against Gilmer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaFayette, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Darlington at 7:30 p.m.
