Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  2-1  back in August.
Jimtown's offense was headlined by  Brooklyn Gillespie and  Brooklyn Barhams, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Kaelyn Dutton and  Emma Young, who contributed six assists each.

The  defeat snapped Jimtown's winning streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 14-19 record. As for Lakeland, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-13.
 Jimtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeland, after both having extra time off, they and South Adams will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
