The Autauga Academy Generals can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 43-30 victory over Macon-East Montgomery Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Autauga Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

That was a full 36.7% of Macon-East Montgomery Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Thaddeus McKinney was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Autauga Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Autauga Academy will take on Edgewood Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Macon-East Montgomery Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Valiant Cross Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 11th.
