Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 78-57 loss at the hands of Northside L. While losing is never fun, Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Northside L is ranked 77th).
Meanwhile, KIPP Legacy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Riverside 78-40.
Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for KIPP Legacy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
