Justin Donley Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Southern Alamance's Justin Donley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Drake Davis posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
On the season, Davis has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 53.6 rushing yards per game.

Brown Came Up Big in Orange's 42-14 Defeat
Orange was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Deandre Brown did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Brown as he made 18 total tackles.
This is the second loss in a row for Orange and nudges their season record down to 2-7. Brown and Orange will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eastern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
