It was another big night for Beau Suarez, who scored 25 points along with six steals and five rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Davis Lehman, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, even though Hernando Christian Academy scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Seven Rivers Christian still came out on top. Seven Rivers Christian walked away with a 64-55 victory over Hernando Christian Academy. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Seven Rivers Christian as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Richard Kilias was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Hendrix Loughridge was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 12 rebounds and six blocks.
Redeemer Christian pushed their record up to 8-9 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points per game. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Keep an eye on the arc in Thursday's match: Redeemer Christian have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 6.1 threes per game. It's a different story for Seven Rivers Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 2.8 threes per game. Given Redeemer Christian's sizeable advantage in that area, Seven Rivers Christian will need to find a way to close that gap.
