They really took it to Amplus Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-4 victory on the road. With Somerset Academy Losee ahead 37-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Somerset Academy Losee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayla Lewis led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 steals. Key Thrower was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Amplus Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Somerset Academy Losee racked up 13 assists.
Somerset Academy Losee is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Amplus Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
