After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nooksack Valley, Ferndale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Mount Vernon Bulldogs by a score of 14-11. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Kaelin Blakley was incredible, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Sianna Bob was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Ferndale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
