After only seven points in their last match, The Middletown North Lions made sure to put some points up on the board against the Ocean City Raiders on Thursday. Middletown North came out on top against Ocean City by a score of 35-24.
When it comes to explaining why Ocean City lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jon Moyer. Despite the final result, he picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Middletown North has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Ocean City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Middletown North will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Middletown South at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. Ocean City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
