It was all tied up at halftime, but Minuteman Regional weren't quite Matignon/St. Joseph Prep's equal in the second half when they met last Saturday. Minuteman Regional didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 0-6 to Matignon/St. Joseph Prep.
Meanwhile, Greater Lowell Tech took care of business in their home opener. They took their contest against KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate by a conclusive 34-6 score.
Greater Lowell Tech's win lifted them to 1-0 while Minuteman Regional's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Greater Lowell Tech's success rolls on or if Minuteman Regional are able to steal their positive momentum.
