The Randolph-Henry Statesmen won against the Fuqua Falcons on Tuesday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Randolph-Henry was the clear victor by a 59-34 margin over Fuqua. The win made it back-to-back wins for Randolph-Henry.
When it comes to explaining why Fuqua lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sam Minix. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with 4 blocks. Minix scored a full 58.8% of Fuqua's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Randolph-Henry's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fuqua, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Randolph-Henry will head out on the road to face off against William Campbell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fuqua, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Covenant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
