  Mia D'Andrea made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. D'Andrea was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run.
 In other batting news,  Rosemarie Hayward and  Gabby Peralta did most of the damage at the plate:  Hayward  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Peralta  went 2-for-4 with two  triples, a  run,  and  an  RBI.  Julianna Bucci was another key contributor,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  triple and a  run.
 Meanwhile, Cumberland faced East Greenwich in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Cumberland won by a  run and slipped past East Greenwich  5-4. The  victory was some much needed relief for Cumberland as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 North Kingstown's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Cumberland, they now  have a winning record of 8-7.
