The Maconaquah Braves will venture away from home to face off against the Rochester Zebras at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rochester took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Maconaquah, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, Maconaquah was able to grind out a solid victory over Lewis Cass, taking the game 9-5. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Kings: they've now won three in a row.
Bennett Isenburg made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Rochester entered their matchup against Wabash on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Zebras lost 7-1 to the Apaches. The game marked the Zebras' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Rochester saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Coleman, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Linden Wilburn also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Rochester's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-2. As for Maconaquah, their record is now 8-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Maconaquah has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Rochester struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
