Pine Lake Prep has gone a perfect 8-0 against Langtree Charter Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. While Pine Lake Prep's win against Lincoln Charter wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pride beat the Eagles by a goal, winning 4-3. Given Pine Lake Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Lincoln Charter are ranked 129th) , the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Avery Garrett and Sadie Peterson scored all four of Pine Lake Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 37 goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Langtree Charter Academy's offense. They lost 18-0 to Mountain Island Charter on Tuesday.

Pine Lake Prep's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those four games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Pine Lake Prep took their victory against Langtree Charter Academy in their previous meeting last Monday by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Pride repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
