Stafford lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emily Delgadillo, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Stafford has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Central Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Stafford will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. Central Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hartford at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th.
