The Manzanola Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Wiley Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Manzanola comes in on a streak of failing to score more than five points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Manzanola played against the Eagles and lost via forfeit.
Wiley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 48-18 loss at the hands of Eads. Wiley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-6.
Manzanola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wiley, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Manzanola was taken down by the Panthers 79-6 in their previous meeting back in January of 2016. Thankfully for Manzanola, Jada Logan (who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
