On Saturday, Lebanon ended up a good deal behind Avon and lost 62-43. Lebanon has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lebanon's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaden Lark, who scored 16 points. Lark scored a full 37.2% of Lebanon's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Wesley Byrd, who scored 8 points along with 5 steals.
Among those leading the charge was Deandre Lott-hancock, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Kramer, who scored 10 points.
Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Avon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will face off against Western Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Avon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brownsburg at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
