On Thursday, Great Oak is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against King at 4:00 PM. Great Oak will be strutting in after a win while King will be stumbling in from a loss.
Great Oak took care of business in their home opener. They took their game against San Jacinto last Thursday 23-10. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (21) and coasted on those for the victory.
Meanwhile,, King couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. King weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 13-18 to Temescal Canyon last week.
King's defeat took them down to 0-1 while Great Oak's triumph pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for King would reverse both their bad luck and Great Oak's good luck. We'll see if King manages to pull off that tough task or if Great Oak keeps their momentum going instead.
