The Riverside Pirates had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 20-19 win over Umatilla. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Riverside also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
Justein Tido was the offensive standout of the match as she scored two points along with seven rebounds and six steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Thomas, who scored five points along with three steals.
Riverside's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-12. As for Umatilla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 17 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Umatilla also has no future games currently scheduled.
