The Follett Panthers waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They breezed by Lefors on the road to the tune of 69-17. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Follett has managed all season.
Maddox Miller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rodlee Williamson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Follett pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Lefors, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Follett will be playing in front of their home fans against Miami at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Miami is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Lefors will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McLean at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
