The Bartlett Indians will challenge the Bromfield Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bartlett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Bartlett easily dispatched Southbridge on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Indians fell just short of Oxford by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost five in a row.

Bartlett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Phillips, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Bromfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of West Boylston by a score of 7-6. Trojans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Lions since on Tuesday.

Bromfield's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-2. As for Bartlett, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
