Softball Recap: Eunice Wins Going Away Against St. Edmund

Eunice hadn't done well against St. Edmund recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Eunice was the clear victor by a 13-5 margin over St. Edmund. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Eunice has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. St. Edmund dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, Eunice will be playing at home against Beau Chene at 5:25 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Edmund, they will head out to take on Westminster Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
