Branson Beal Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Albany got the W thanks in part to Branson Beal playing the best football he has all season. Beal rushed for 144 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Breylon Billington posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made six total tackles (2.0 for loss). He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.
On the year, Billington has averaged 4.9 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 3.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 55.57 rushing yards.
