Football Recap: James Buchanan Has No Trouble Against Susquenita

James Buchanan got themselves on the board against Susquenita on Friday, but Susquenita never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Blackhawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Hunter Egli had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 150 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. Those 150 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Christian Pine was in the mix as well, providing James Buchanan with one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: James Buchanan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 294 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Susquenita only rushed for 130 rushing yards.

James Buchanan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 33.5 points thus far. As for Susquenita, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
