The Seminole County Indians lost against the Calhoun County Cougars back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Seminole County was outmatched by the Cougars at home and fell 84-53. Seminole County was down 65-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DJ Yarbrough, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was JT Calloway, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Seminole County's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Calhoun County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.
Seminole County will head out on the road to challenge the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Early County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. As for Calhoun County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Royal Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Stewart County has now lost 16 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 17.
