In what's become a running theme this season, the Turpin Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Forgan 60-9 on the road. With that win, Turpin brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Turpin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gunner Post, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Bryson Parker, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Turpin pushed their record up to 8-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Forgan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Turpin will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sharon-Mutual at 1:45 p.m. Sharon-Mutual will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Turpin is ranked 182nd). As for Forgan, they will head out on the road to challenge Balko at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
