Leading Eau Claire to victory were Aric Hicks and Asa Price. Hicks scored 16 points, while Price scored 18 points. It was the first time this season that Hicks scored 15 or more points. Aden Price was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Fairfield Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Eau Claire, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-16.
Fairfield Central will head out on the road to challenge the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keenan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Griffins in South Carolina (the Raiders are ranked 80th, while the Griffins are ranked 240th). As for Eau Claire, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Capitals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
