After both having extra time off, the Legacy Longhorns and the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Legacy proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by three) and  on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a  set and slipped past Mojave  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Longhorns have posted  against the Rattlers since September 29, 2018.
Meanwhile, Mater Academy East Las Vegas posted their closest  win since September 27th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Las Vegas, sneaking past  3-2.
 Mater Academy East Las Vegas wouldn't go down easily and took Las Vegas into a fifth set  where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 18-25, 15-25,  15-9.
 Mater Academy East Las Vegas pushed their record up to 13-17 with the  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Legacy, their win bumped their record up to 10-17.
 Legacy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Mater Academy East Las Vegas in their previous matchup  back in September, winning  3-1. Do  the Longhorns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
