The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mechanicsburg, who took down 70th ranked Cedar Cliff, 38-34.
The Wildcats moved up to 158 from 184 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mid-Penn - Keystone. Mechanicsburg was able to make move up by topping the Colts 38-34.
Bishop McDevitt's dynamic duo of Alec Werner and Brian Lemelle proved tough for Palmyra to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Werner threw for 206 yards and one touchdown and Lemelle had 114 yards receiving. Anthony DiMarco helped Bishop McDevitt's passing attack out by catching one ball for 31 yards.
Zach Drayer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Hershey lost to Lower Dauphin. He completed 17 passes for 183 yards and also ran for 31 yards. Drayer's favorite target this week was Jailen Harmon, who caught five passes for 46 yards.
Andrew Nelson made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Trojans fell to the Falcons. The senior grabbed one sack.
Troy Spencer was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 73 yards as Lower Dauphin topped the Cougars. Travis Morrill also contributed to the rushing game with 23 yards on the ground.
6-foot-3 quarterback Andrew Ford of Cedar Cliff is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2573. He has also thrown 32 touchdowns. On the ground, Red Land's John Ford has rushed for 1288 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Lemelle. The Bishop McDevitt star has 58 catches for 1005 yards.
Morrill has rushed for 933 yards on 149 carries so far this year.
So far this year, he has garnered 61 catches for 962 yards.
Bishop McDevitt extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Penn - Keystone this week by beating Palmyra, 49-14. The win marks 10th in a row for the Jeff Weachter's team.
