Tiverton is 2-7 against Chariho since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tiverton Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Chariho Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Tiverton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Tiverton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 58-18 victory over Mt. Pleasant. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Tiverton has posted yet this season.
Tiverton found their leader in underclassman Cami Oliveira, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Williams, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Chariho unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 55-35 loss at the hands of Shea. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Chariho has suffered yet this season.
Tiverton's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Chariho, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
Tiverton came up short against Chariho in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 39-28. Can Tiverton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
