The Lyon County Lyons's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard on Wednesday.
Last Tuesday, Lyon County didn't have too much trouble with Muhlenberg County on the road as they won 72-58. Given Lyon County's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Muhlenberg County is ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy-Louisville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ryle.
Lyon County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
