The Community Christian Academy Crusaders lost against the Cornerstone Christian Academy Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Community Christian Academy took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cornerstone Christian Academy. Community Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lily Brothers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cornerstone Christian Academy, scoring 41 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brothers has scored all season.
Community Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Richmond HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
