San Dieguito Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Patrick Henry apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Derek McBride continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Patrick Henry, scoring 21 points. The contest was McBride's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Weatherred, who scored 13 points.
San Dieguito Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Patrick Henry, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
