Fuquay - Varina kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holly Springs Golden Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bengals of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.
