Waukesha South is 1-9 against Muskego since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Blackshirts will welcome the Warriors at 4:30 p.m.
Waukesha South is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kettle Moraine.

Alyson Staley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chiara Browne, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Muskego got the win against Waukesha West on Tuesday by a conclusive 12-5. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Kyleigh Sadler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Reese Heinrich, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game. Samantha Brunner was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles.
Muskego kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waukesha West only managed five hits.
Muskego has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Waukesha South, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
