The Stevens Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warren Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Stevens' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
Stevens fell victim to Brennan's stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell 2-0 to the Bears. That's two games in a row now that Stevens has lost by exactly two goals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Warren gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand O'Connor a 3-0 shutout. The victory was just what Warren needed coming off of a 4-0 loss in their prior contest.
They hit O'Connor with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Alex Delossantos-Ortiz,
Brian Guevara, and
Jayden Robles.
Stevens has not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 1-13-2 record this season. As for Warren, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
