The Enterprise Wolves struggled with assists on Thursday (the Kanab Cowboys had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Enterprise's tough 68-45 defeat to Kanab might stick with them for a while. Enterprise has not had much luck with Kanab recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eliza Balajadia, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylah Humphries, who scored 11 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kanab to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rylee Little, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Sidney Dayea was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Kanab, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.
Enterprise will be playing at home against Millard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Millard is ranked 94th, while Enterprise is ranked 74th). As for Kanab, they will head out on the road to face off against Water Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kanab is facing Water Canyon at the right time seeing as Water Canyon is stuck on a 11-game losing streak.
