KEARNEY, Mo. - After three lead changes,
Kearney (Mo.) took the lead for good when
Austin Hinck threw a touchdown to
Matthew Rule with 8:00 to go in the third quarter and held on to upset
Park Hill South (Kansas City, Mo.) 42-21 on Saturday.
The Panthers pulled ahead on a touchdown, and subsequently went into halftime leading 14-13. The Bulldogs took the lead for good with an Hinck touchdown pass to Rule in the third quarter.
With the win Kearney extended its winning streak to eight games. Kearney defeated Winnetonka 27-6 last week.
The loss comes after Park Hill South defeated Park Hill 24-3 last week. The loss broke Park Hill South's three-game winning streak.
