The Lockney Longhorns lost against the Roosevelt Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Lockney took a 66-51 bruising from Roosevelt. Lockney has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Lockney still got an impressive performance from Haygen Lefevre, who scored 16 points. Xavier Jimenez was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Lockney now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Roosevelt, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Lockney will head out on the road to face off against Crosbyton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt, they will face off against Life Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Life Prep is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
