Softball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Shawano Community's Third in Last Four Outings

Shawano Community won against Menasha on Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Hawks came out on top against the New London Bulldogs by a score of 5-2. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Shawano Community is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for New London, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
