Longview's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 18-1 margin over the Harleton Wildcats. Considering the Lobos have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win snapped Longview's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record. As for Harleton, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Longview will be taking part in a tournament against Jefferson at 2:50 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Longview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harleton, they will take on New Diana in a tournament on Friday.
