The Bullock County Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 22-21 to LAMP. Bullock County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as LAMP apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on January 9th.
Among those leading the charge was Kaylei Mixon, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Bullock County dropped their record down to 3-15 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for LAMP, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
Bullock County will head out on the road to challenge Montgomery Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Montgomery Catholic is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. As for LAMP, they will be playing at home against Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Booker T. Washington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
