The Bridge to Independence Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Titusville 64-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Bridge to Independence's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaydan Jeantinord, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Jeantinord scored a full 25.4% of Bridge to Independence's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jvarius Gibson, who scored 18 points.
Bridge to Independence now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Titusville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Bridge to Independence will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Apopka Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. Apopka Christian Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Titusville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lyman at 5:30 p.m. on December 29th.
