Northridge won against Viewmont on Saturday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Northridge Knights beat the White Pine Bobcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-7. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Makaybree Nay, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Madisyn Lecour, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Northridge hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive matches.

The win got Northridge back to even at 4-4. As for White Pine, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will host Viewmont at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Viewmont has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.63 runs per game on average), something Northridge will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for White Pine, they will square off against Lincoln County at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. White Pine has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
