The Warsaw Wildcats lost against the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Warsaw took a serious blow against the Bulldogs, falling 68-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Warsaw in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Gemes, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. Shane Poyser was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Warsaw's defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16. As for El Dorado Springs, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-9.
Warsaw will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Stover presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wildcats in Missouri (the Bulldogs are ranked 115th, while the Wildcats are ranked 481st). As for El Dorado Springs, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
