Avaree Haramoto made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Micali Harvey was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Eskelson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Sky View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Logan hadn't done well against Ridgeline recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Grizzlies walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Riverhawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grizzlies.
Cambree Cooper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Bracken, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Miley Allen, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Sky View has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.
Sky View couldn't quite finish off Logan when the teams last played back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Will the Bobcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
