Jaxon Garcia Dazzles in Falfurrias Win
Jaxon Garcia helped snap Falfurrias's five-game losing streak. Garcia was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 150 yards and a touchdown. Those 64 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
This season, Garcia has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 121.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 12 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 32.57 rushing yards.

San Diego Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Ronnie White
Ronnie White was instrumental in extending San Diego's winning streak to three on Friday. White was dynamite, picking up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 52 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.
San Diego is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. White and San Diego will be playing in front of their home fans against Bishop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Luera Came Up Big in San Diego's 38-13 Victory
Another San Diego player making an appearance on this list is Nicholas Luera. He rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
For the year, Luera has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 120.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown.

Atkinson Made His Presence Known in Rio Hondo's 20-0 Win
Ruben Atkinson put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown.
If history really does repeat itself, Atkinson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Raymondville on Friday. When Atkinson last faced the Bearkats back in August of 2023, he threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes.
