Iola let Osawatomie stack six runs on them in the fourth inning on Tuesday but luckily Iola prevailed anyway. The Mustangs came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 11-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Tuesday.

The victory made it two in a row for Iola and bumps their season record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Osawatomie, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iola will head out to take on Parsons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osawatomie, they will venture away from home to challenge Burlington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
