A Season-Best Performance from Brayden Myovela Leads Maize over Maize South
On Friday, Maize got the W thanks in part to Brayden Myovela playing the best football he has all season. Myovela rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Maize's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. Myovela and Maize will square off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
